|  | Hajdú Cup National Championship of Latin Dances
Championship of the country’s best dancers for the Hajdú Cup. Several age-categories take part in the championship which guarantees a whole day program for the public.

|  | “The Strongest Man of Hungary” Final
The athletes have to excel at five games: timber lifting, weight carrying, car pushing, weight pulling, and the most difficult but most spectacular one, to pull a truck with a harness.

National Championship of Horserace and Horse Jumping. You can admire the beautiful horses and support the one you like the most.

|  | Jazz-Blues Jamboree Regional Music Festival
At the festival you can see several big bands and jazz lovers can listen to the most famous musicians of the country. In the end of the day you can listen to a fantastic star jam session.
(2008.06.13-14.) | | July |  | Summer course of the International Art Centre of the Hajdú Country
The oldest summer Art Centre of Hungary, registered officially by UNESCO. In every year during the first three weeks of July professional and amateur artists work in the centre. Their paintings are exposed in Hungary and in abroad as well.

Hungary’s biggest party, the oldest, yearly organized youth summer event. At the 3 day festival young people can chose between more than a hundred cultural programs

One week event with programs for every generation. Expositions, concerts, theatre, demonstrations, competitions and other programs.
(2008.08.12-20.) | August |  | National Tractor Pulling Competition
Tractors and trucks of different categories try to pull an object made especially for this event in 40 seconds in a 100 meters track. In every year visitors can admire the strength of the tractors arrived from abroad.
(2008.08.16-17.) | August |  | Bread Festival of the Hajdú Country
In the bakers’ street bakers and artists display their products rich of taste, quality and form as well as some work of art made of bread, all ready to be tasted. Next to professional events visitors can admire the process of house-made bread making and taste a piece of house-made bread. At the professional events visitors can learn the different techniques of bread making.
